Travel is my way of life, because "Not all who wander are lost" ; rather, they often discover the best parts of themselves wherever they go. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, I moved to New York City shortly after college and had the opportunity to spend several summers in northern Sweden. I met my husband in NYC and six months into dating we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro together, an adventure that inspired the life we've built. We started traveling to Europe with our kids when they were babies because it was an easy trip from NYC, and now, with three children (ages 7, 10, and 13) — we've explored 14 countries as a family. Some of our favorite memories include skiing in Japan, bathing elephants in Thailand, island-hopping in Greece, and watching my husband and 13-year-old son race bikes through the Dolomites of Italy. These days we call Park City, Utah home, where we love to ski and mountain bike as much as we can — but the world is always calling.

Favorite Destination and Why: My favorite destinations are those that stay with me long after I leave. A few trips that hold a special place in my heart include taking my kids to Venice for the first time and watching them marvel at the floating city (and all the gelato!), celebrating my 40th birthday in Greece with my then 3-year-old daughter, a 5-week family adventure throughout Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, tasting every stroopwafel we came across in Amsterdam, and summers spent at the bagni of Forte dei Marmi, Italy. We call Nosara, Costa Rica our home away from home, and we get there as often as we can to surf, practice yoga, wake up to howler monkeys, and savor the Pura Vida culture.

Areas of Specialty: Adventure, wellness, travel with children, multi-generational, couples' trips, friend getaways, honeymoons.

My Travel Style Is: My travel style is organized yet flexible. I like having a loose itinerary and a list of must-see places and restaurants, but I always leave room to take recommendations from locals, say yes to a spontaneous adventure, squeeze in a massage if the hotel has a great spa, and wander off the beaten path if something catches my eye.

Languages: English (native), very basic knowledge of French, Swedish, and Spanish
