I’m Cara Donleavy, founder of Curated By Cara, a Boston-based luxury travel boutique specializing in bespoke, one-of-a-kind vacations. I draw on years of global exploration to design seamless, personalized itineraries that blend must-see highlights with insider experiences. I handle every detail so you can simply relax and enjoy your trip. In 2024, I was honored to be named a Travel + Leisure Rising Star for my work in creating unforgettable travel experiences.

Favorite Destination and Why: Nantucket: For its beaches, culinary scene, and the "Crucomber" at Cru. It is truly "Quintessentially New England." Ravello, Italy: A destination I've been visiting since I was little. Near and dear to my Italian heritage, and a place even made more special as I got married at Palazzo Avino in 2024.

Area of Specialty: Europe (all but especially Italy and Greece), Caribbean, and USA/New England

My Travel Style: Well thought out from start to finish, fun touches and recommendations, cuisine-focused when in Europe. 

Fun Facts About Me:  

I have a degree in Engineering and spent 12 years in the commercial construction industry before transitioning to travel.

I am mostly Italian and am currently learning the language.

I love to cook in my "free time."
