I’m Cara Donleavy, founder of Curated By Cara, a Boston-based luxury travel boutique specializing in bespoke, one-of-a-kind vacations. I draw on years of global exploration to design seamless, personalized itineraries that blend must-see highlights with insider experiences. I handle every detail so you can simply relax and enjoy your trip. In 2024, I was honored to be named a Travel + Leisure Rising Star for my work in creating unforgettable travel experiences.

Favorite Destination and Why: Nantucket – For its beaches, vibrant culinary scene, and the signature “Crucumber” at Cru. To me, it’s quintessentially New England. Ravello, Italy – A place I’ve cherished since childhood, deeply connected to my Italian heritage, and made even more meaningful when I married at Palazzo Avino in 2024..

Area of Specialty: Europe (with a focus on Italy and Greece), the Caribbean, and the U.S. with a special emphasis on New England.

My Travel Style: Thoughtfully planned from start to finish, with personalized touches and a focus on authentic culinary experiences—especially when traveling through Europe.

I hold a degree in Engineering and spent 12 years in the commercial construction industry before following my passion for travel.
