As a child I was fortunate enough to travel fairly extensively around the country, which shaped my view of the world, and provided me unparalleled life experiences. Now, as an adult, with young children of my own, I feel that travel is a vital part of learning, thriving, creating new perspectives, and engaging with one's community and world in a more open and kind way. Being a Virtuoso Certified Travel Advisor gives me the opportunity to help others experience the magic and wonder of seeing the world, and in turn, to build one's own lifelong treasured memories.

As a former clinical therapist, I understand that travel is therapeutic in some way to everyone… the details just look and feel different for each person. Part of our process together is carefully curating your travel experiences to be exactly what you need them to be for each trip planned. I treat each client's travel itinerary as if it were my own, taking great care and pride in the time spent curating tailored experiences and recommendations in order to make use of my client's valuable time and investment abroad. After all, travel is a journey with the purpose of enhancing one’s health, happiness and connection to the world around them, in whatever form that might take. Each trip is a new opportunity for experiences that last a lifetime, and I’m humbled every time I’m asked to join together with clients to plan these very special moments.

Favorite Destination and Why: While the Maldives and Fiji were absolutely stunning, Rome has recently, and unexpectedly, captured my heart. I grew up fascinated with cultural history around the world, and Rome’s beauty is just a time-traveler's dream, where every layer of the past has shaped the face of the city that we see today. It is compelling and overwhelmingly picturesque—it's not just seen, but it is felt, in a richness of culture and life throughout the city. And I now understand, and have experienced, La Dolce Vita.

Areas of Specialty: Family & Celebration Travel, Sustainable Travel & Wellness Travel

My Travel Style Is: Definitely experiential. I want to soak up all that I can that is unique to the destination I'm in. I want to connect with the history, the people, the landscape, the culinary experiences and everything that makes that location what it is. While I am very detail focused with my clients' travels, with my own adventures I select a few meaningful experiences that are planned prior to my trip, but then I also allow the trip to unfold organically while there. Magic tends to happen that way.

Fun Facts About Me:

I wanted to be a marine biologist growing up and I am still absolutely obsessed with all marine animals and fish. Swimming with mantas in the Maldives this summer was a dream come true!

I have three amazing and adventurous kiddos - ages 9, 7 and 4, and a fantastically supportive husband, who also happens to be a vascular surgeon.

I have lived a lot of lives before the age of 40 - I used to be a clinical therapist specializing in anxiety disorders, as well as sport psychology, as I worked in college athletics throughout my entire six years at the University of Kansas.
